This HEADLOCK gyro is suitable for thunder tiger rc helicopters Mini Titan E325 and similar 6/7ch CCPM type radio controlled helicopters.

When the helicopter encounters a cross-wind and the tail drifts, a control signal from the gyro computes the drift angle and constantly outputs a control signal that resists the cross-wind. This stops drifting of the tail even in moderate/strong cross-winds. The gyro itself will automatically auto trim to keep the  helicopter flying in the same direction ie keep a heading locked. Also when the tail of the helicopter rotates, the servo also rotates in accordance with angle of rotation of the tail. When the tail stops rotating, the servo judges that it has stopped in that position.
